How to download your Chase transactions

Chase is a bank in the US. Export your transaction history as CSV, OFX, QFX, then drop the file into PennySlice — the AI categorises it for you.

Step by step

  1. Log in to Chase Online at chase.com.
  2. Click on the account (checking, savings, or credit card).
  3. Click 'See full statement & activity' or go to the Activity tab.
  4. Set the date range using the date filter dropdown.
  5. Click the download icon (arrow pointing down) at the top-right of the transaction list.
  6. Select CSV as the download format.
  7. Click Download Activity and save the file.

Tips for Chase

  • Chase allows up to 7 years of history for credit cards, 2 years for checking.
  • Chase credit card CSV has: Transaction Date, Post Date, Description, Category, Type, Amount.
  • Chase checking CSV has: Details, Posting Date, Description, Amount, Type, Balance, Check or Slip #.
